EUROS – GOALS

Some have been spectacular and others just works of beauty. My favourite so far I think is De Bruyne’s side foot pass into the goal at the end of a great move. However I will need to see them all again, and I am sure we will! As to who will win? I really do not care that much. I would like to see England play well and win, but I also like the underdog – so Scotland or Wales, but Italy have played great football. Any true football supporter will acknowledge the beauty of Brazil and the Netherlands in past international tournaments, this could turn out to be the best for a while with France, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, England and Germany(belatedly) all looking good, will it be Spain and Portugal to fill last places? Slovakia look good in Group E, and possibly Switzerland in group B, but the real question comes down to Group F (the group of death). One would expect Germany to beat Hungary, but then it will be down to France vs Portugal, should Portugal and Germany win, France would have to hope to go through as best losers! This has been a great tournament.
