Giving people longer holidays (and providing fairer wages would allow this) would reduce the total number of flights. Foreign travel is immensely important to the development of international understanding and world peace. Do not mock this last comment.
However we also need to be acutely aware that Corvid-19 has spread so quickly due to the huge inter-connectivity of the world we live in.
So less often and better quality seems the way to go for now.
Maybe Weston-super-Mare town centre could be converted into a rave centre with heated pools, tanning lounges, given an exemption from alcohol tax and drug laws. And when the weather is ok visitors could go to the beach! Not that different to now!Areas could be themed with different restaurants.
