GARIBALDI BISCUITS

Recipe’ish. 100g self-raising flour; 35g butter; pinch salt; 3tbs milk; 1tsp vanilla extract; 50g golden caster sugar; mix and roll out. Cover half with chopped currants. Fold in half to make a currant sandwich and cook for 10-12 minutes at 180. I can’t be arsed with the egg wash! Maybe brush with butter?

Soak currants in brandy or liqueur for 30 min first and also add some cinnamon to the sugar. I have ordered some miniatures to try out!
