So here goes

And then I start thinking! A good dressing with olive oil, top quality vinegar, salt, a peck of sugar and some lemon/lime juice will tang up any salad., So roast some nuts, add some seeds, add some herbs in season. And then for the main bit. Potato/pasta/rice/noodles/crutons in garlic; or a variety of dried beans (marinate overnight with some baking powder). I really love cheese! but also a bit of seasoned meat would add to the flavour. Or a bit of marmite (or if down under – Vegemite).

So I have just put a variety of beans and lentils into soak u until tomorrow, and have a few hours to consider how to use them.
