HOUSE OF LORDS

I have received criticism that Labour should be concentrating on the economic crisis (caused by the Tories). However they are in opposition and whilst many of their policies have been adopted by the U Turning govt. they have no power at the moment so looking ahead is a worthwhile thing to do.

Meanwhile the government seem to be provoking strike action across the board in the hope that the public will turn against the unions. Unfortunately for them the public seem generally sympathetic with only tories who are immune to economic pressures being anti-union. I guess Sunak will attempt a diatribe about union barons and labour being beholden to them. What will KS use for his questions today? His tactic of one line of questioning has been successful so far.

It must be difficult for him as the government just seems to be sleepwalking over the cliff!
