I HOPE THIS IS NOT BEING A NIMBY!

So all these new residents will have to drive at least 5 miles to a supermarket (or get delivery), 10 -15 miles to employment or entertainment on roads that have not been improved at all. So the roads and pollution increase, the surrounding environment is built on, or suffers from increased pressure with no extra facilities.

Is there a model for a rural office sharing facility. One which is provided with all office facilities, and a cafe or restaurant if busy enough. Those home workers – who are lying if they say they are as productive if they have a family!- could cycle or walk to a community office block. They could rent secure office space with all necessary mod-cons. Ultra high speed internet and photocopiers (not obsolete yet!) and printers. Maybe even an available and bookable meeting room with plenty of screens for zoom meetings. I am sure market research would be able to assess the viability of this idea. For round here I would suggest a field near the Railway Line for access, a barn style architecture, a cafe that could make money from the users of the Strawberry Line. I guess it would need parking access, but this could be bookable for a price. (Golf buggies available?). Maybe I need to buy a lottery ticket?
