I do not ever remember voting for a wining candidate, thus I have never been democratically represented. maybe postal voting is the way forward – parties can set up addresses like churches and mosques to enable the homeless and itinerant population to get their postal vote.
Andy did it again this morning and stated again that his working class (white van) mates will not vote labour again because of the pledge to revisit BREXIT. I am not sure how well this holds up. Labour did well in Wales. Brexit was extraordinarily close. So how many have actually switched from labour for this reason – or is it just that the Labour Party at the moment stands for … basically nothing.
Good to see UKIP sink with no trace. Smarmy face has made his money, got the BBC to put him on QT so often that he was almost a permanent member. But whilst it is great to see far right facist parties lose out, it just means those people are now voting Tory!
Greens did brill in Bristol. Once their profile increases I wonder how many of the white van brigade who were Labour will become Greens?
