Rather than revert to the factionalism of the past and one which is tearing the tories apart at the moment. If the Labour Party Membership in Islington want Jeremy Corbyn – then so be it. Labour must not follow the governments policy of sending out a Cabinet Member to spout the words of the PM. The manifesto will be the programme of the party, but not 100% obedience to it. Bring back dissent and discussion to ensure that reasoned argument is adhered to.
Leadership by example and honesty. It would be great to hear a Minister say that he had argued against a policy but would agree to implement it on the grounds that his arguments and points of view had been discussed.
