ONION TART

Recipe was 100g of lard or dripping (but I just used a slug of rapeseed oil; 1kg of onions – I used 1 1/2 onions; 80g lardons (I used similar!); 75ml dry white wine (tick); 4 eggs (I used 2); 100g whipping cream (I used some??) and pepper (tick). Bought pastry. Caramalise the onions, pre-bake pastry case, having stabbed it lots first, for 20 mins at 200C. Whip cream and eggs and wine and cook everything for 40 mins at 180C.
