In a room with windows closed and 30 people there was not one wearing a mask. Is that the message to send to the public? Or is it that those present are just a bit thick?

I just had a look at the percentages – Sandford area 90.3% single -86% double. Compare this with Bourneville 76.2/68.6; Bedminster 76.1/68.6; Bodmin 77.4/83.4; Lostwithiel 80/85.8; Barton Hill Bristol 58.2/46.6, Holborn 48.4/42.5.

The term reappeared yesterday with Gove been given the job of overseeing it. Just how the tories think they will achieve it is down to smoke and mirrors. Of course the tories of the shires do not want the ruffians from the north getting on a level footing with them. The party is also practising austerity at the moment by cutting UC and the tax rises were mainly on the poor, and nowhere near enough to fund the NHS and Care.

In a way I am sorry because it was quite fun entertainment watching how useless he could be! Jenrick gone too with no tears here (he says he is proud of what he achieved – is he referring to his bank balance?).

3.2% increase in inflation mainly due to increase in food prices, and add in 2.5% National Insurance tax, and increasing energy costs, and then reductions in Universal Credit and record numbers of children living in poverty – a social disaster?

Currently 1000 people a day are being admitted to hospital with Covid. Rates of 300+ per 100000 per week seem to be the norm in England. Plan A does not seem to working too well Johnson. Wearing face masks in Parliament is requested but ignored by all on the Government benches. Vaccine passport proposal has been dropped. Advice to work from home has also been dropped.

What a conundrum – no real benefit to the children themselves. Unless the children have health problems of live with those at risk I would totally understand why a child would feel very uncertain about having the jab, and their parents.
