James O’Brien just made a very good point – the Police are there to protect wealth., not to ensure justice and observance of the law. It is not the fault of the police officers themselves, but the obscenity of the Government’s twisted ideology.
They have still not responded to PartyGate or appointed a new Commissioner (who would want that poisoned chalice? Or will it be a political appointment – Sadiq Khan has a say I believe, which is presumably why no appointment has been made?
It is well documented that there is an element of the Met Police which is rotten. This needs to be sorted, not hidden. Since the Steven Lawrence case there has been little to lead the public to believe that the Met Police are to be respected. … without question. And this spins over to. the rest of the country. Unfortunately the leadership of Priti Patel is beyond ridicule and is evil.
