Many Tory M.P.s have made it blatantly obvious that they are more concerned with the finance of Corvid-19 rather than the safety of the population. I suppose one should ask the question do they have a point? Morally -no. Economically – if the economy results in many millions of unemployed and poverty, one could make a point, but unemployment and poverty are political decisions. Poverty is a result of the distribution of income, not anything else. Unemployment is a bigger issue – perhaps we could all have 3 day weeks?
