SPRING IS ON ITS WAY

So lots of tomato seeds – I will plant at least 8 in greenhouse, and maybe some others by the front wall? So Ruthje, Santiam Sunrise, Pink Tiger and cherry tomato seeds in tomorrow. I might put some purple tansy in as well – good pollinator plant.

The rest – wild flower seeds, poppies, Morning Glory and French Marigold can wait another week or so, as can wall flowers, sun flowers, calendula and dill.

I will get some tarragon seeds as it is not readily available. And greek basil – I love the look of it. By the way my winter jasmine is filling the porch with lovely scent, but will the lemon and lime trees flower and develop a crop?

Time to cut up shirts for the hanging baskets – line with a couple of sheets of newspaper and they work brilliantly. Then I can plant nasturtium and the plug plants from the conservatory.
