A £2bn contract has been given to an American company (ICF) to deliver on the governments green power pledges – guess what – it is apparently a fiasco with companies not being paid for work carried out.
One would not trust this government with children’s pocket money, let alone the national budget. The furlough scheme was well intentioned but fraud has apparently been rampant.
And Boris Johnson says he is sorry (for all the governments mishandling of basically everything) with about as much sincerity as me apologising for my birthday falling on a Monday!
