I recall hearing that the recycled boxes would be used for lego rather than recycling when first introduced. Walking through the village yesterday prior to the recycling lorry coming through, every house bar none had their recycling out.
This is despite many of knowing that much of there plastic will not be recycled. The point is that most of us will make an effort by separating and recycling as much waste as we can. Given direction and the moral incentive, change can happen.
We need a campaign to encourage everyone to make Climate Change Resolutions (don’t wait for New Years Eve). My personal list is as follows: Eat meat only on days with 6 letters in them. : Only use the car for 2 days a week. : Keep heating to a minimum.
