As ever with Trump it is almost impossible to predict. i would hope that Starmer has not agreed to lowering agricultural standards. A lowering in tec companies tax seems inevitable, The USA has a positive trade balance with us so Starmer should have had a strong case, especially regarding services. British car exports are also skewed to high end products so do not compete directly with US cars? It is also unlikely to be a trade deal as such, unlike the India one signed yesterday. It is more of a tariff reduction deal, so will be limited in scope and time. It would seem unlikely to include filming and artistic products?
